This is just a sample of the home-made fare that’s available from our extensive and frequently changing a-la-carte menu.

Where possible all our ingredients are from local and sustainable sources. Whether it’s best fell bred lamb for our famous hotpot or ocean fished cod and haddock for our delicious fish pie, quality counts.

You can enjoy your meal in the quiet of our informal dining room which is ideal for an intimate dinner or a family get-together or, alternatively, you can eat in the bar area where you can savour the lively atmosphere of a family friendly local pub.

Although there’s usually no need to book, just give us a call if there’s a party of you coming so we can give you that extra special treatment!

If you’re just passing and want a quick bite or are watching sport on our wide screen TVs and want sustenance as the Clarets work their way to Wembley, we have a wide range of bar snacks that includes sandwiches, paninis, toasties and burgers that start from just £3.25.

The service was immaculate without in any way being pretentious or stuffy ...pitch perfect. The food was an equal match. Superb flavours! Excellent presentation! Great menu choices. .
